This article is part of the series “Discovering All Features of the Gokasa Software,” where we dive into each tool that helps you streamline your operations and increase sales.
Complete record of all transactions
In the Transaction History section, you’ll find a comprehensive overview of all transactions created in the system. Each transaction includes:
- EAN code
- Date and time of transaction
- Name of the staff member who processed it
- Total order amount
- Payment method: cash, card, payment terminal, meal vouchers, bank transfer…

This allows you to easily search and verify any transaction at any time – whether it’s resolving a customer inquiry or reviewing sales revenue.
Intuitive symbols and colors for quick navigation
Next to each transaction line, you’ll see small circular icons with letters that represent the status or characteristics of the order. When you hover or click, their meanings are revealed e.g.:
- D – Order with discount applied
- X – Item cancellation in the order
- S – Cancelled transaction
Transaction line colors help you quickly identify status:
- Green – Receipt with discount applied
- Red – Cancelled receipt
- Orange – Receipt with negative amount, typically used to deduct cancelled receipts
- Purple – Receipt with negative or zero value
This allows you to assess transaction status at a glance without opening individual details.
Easy receipt reprinting on request
When a customer requests a receipt after payment, you can easily reprint it directly in the “Transaction History” section with a single click. This is not only convenient but also demonstrates your store’s professionalism.
Transaction categories at the bottom of the screen
Below the Transaction History section, the system divides transactions into three subcategories for easier control:
1. Offline transactions
Transactions that haven’t been synchronized with the server yet – they exist only on the sales device but aren’t in the central system. This is important to note when working offline or during connection outages.
2. Out of sync Transactions
Include duplicate transactions or those with serious errors that the system cannot process. These transactions should be carefully checked and resolved to prevent future issues.
3. Nonfiscal Transactions
Transactions that don’t affect cash flow, such as test transactions, cancellations, or technical adjustments. You can view details and delete unnecessary transactions to clean up data.
Conclusion
Transaction History in Gokasa POS software isn’t just an information repository, but a tool for controlling and ensuring transparency throughout the entire sales process. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, clear symbols, and intelligent transaction categorization, you can easily monitor, troubleshoot, and serve customers as professionally as possible.
